Today's list features a number of newer writers as well as some who seem to drop off the activity feed too quickly. I hope you'll discover a new favorite or two of your own. As always, please feel free to submit your own treasures. I don't know how the OS Editors do it. There's an absolute ton (yes, that's the technical term) of good writing out there.
Enjoy!

Anyway, I look forward to reading the other authors you recommended and again, as a writer I can appreciate what a nice unselfish gesture you made in posting this list.
Best,
Robin
days, so I love some direction on what I've missed. And thank you, too, for including me on this list. Much appreciated.
One thing I've found is that one shouldn't judge a post by its title. Catamite's post about Gaza, while a dire subject, is full of interesting historical tidbits. Rick McCollister makes the mundane interesting. Sciencechick's piece is a riot, even if you're not a teacher. Lisa Solod Warren presents a view against the use of coal in an extremely personal way. And you've gotta, GOTTA check out Mari McNeil and Leeandra Nolting. I promise you won't be disappointed.
LuluandPhoebe - My pleasure. Just don't hate me because I sing in the car. :)
Michael - Advice? Have absolutely NO outside life. OK, I'm kidding, but it does take a lot of reading. I usually go through the Most Recent list and look for things in there. The better known and more widely read writers are usually on the front page and in the feeds (although not always; anyone can be a victim of that warp-speed activity feed and too many Spam posts.)
Dorinda - Thank YOU. You're my inspiration for this activity.
O'Stephanie - You're the best! There are some here that I think you'll really enjoy.
Thank you everyone for your support of this project. I appreciate it, as I'm sure our fellow writers do. Don't forget to contribute any that I've missed, even if it's your own.
idahospud - You're sweet. I hope that people enjoy it.
